The refuge Casera Vecchia Varro is located in the basin of Varrone, on the slopes of the southern slope of Mount Melasc. The shelter is open on Sundays and public holidays throughout the year, even in winter (see the page with the updated conditions of the road). During the week opening on request. In summer, from mid-June to mid-September, the shelter is open daily.
