Basilica di San Giacomo Bellagio Like
One of the finest examples of Lombard-Romanesque with an intact apse. The parish Church of San Giacomo (St. James) dates back to the 12th century. The rest of the structure has undergone numerous restorations, especially during the 18th century. Inside are valuable works including a painting of the Deposition, attributed to Perugino, a large statue of the Dead Christ, of Spanish workmanship and a fine triptych depicting the Virgin Mary with Saints Roche and Sebastian.
